Happy blogging!
Based upon the video I was recorded and looked at, I think I need to improve more in my language, accent and pronunciations. I did well on my introduction, but later on I was lost in my presentation slides and missed a lot of points that I wanted to bring up on the presentations.
ReplyDeleteFor the next presentations, I want to improve my english by not speak and sound like singaporean with singlish accent, practice more before my presentation and also, make my presentation slides more interesting for people to see.
Look at the video of my presentation with Devina about Bora Bora. I find several mistakes that I did in the presentation. First, my gesture was too aggressive and quite unprofessional. Second, I talked too fast and I still have some grammatically errors. Last, my voice volume is somewhat too loud. My goals for my next presentation are; 1) become more professional in term of gesture, 2) Not talk too fast and use the correct grammar, 3) Keep my voice to be not too loud so it sound nice in audiences ears. I hope in my next presentations, those goals can be done by me. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteAfter I see the video about my presentation about Bora Bora, I realize there are many things that I have to improve. In my point of view, I have some weaknesses in several parts such as less eye contact, less confidence and my volume is not too loud. My goals for my next presentation are; first, I need to give more eye contact to the audiences and second is clear explanation about the presentation. Last, as long as I already prepare well, I have to believe that I can do it.
ReplyDeleteAfter seeing the video and looking through the peer assesment, i find so many mistakes that i happened to do. I oftenly said 'hmm' and 'eh' that made me look not really prepared. I also realise that my hand gestures while explaining was a little bit stiff and weird. And i do realise that i have to improve my speaking skills in English. My goals for the presentations in the future are adding vocabularies in my knowledge so i can explain about what i want to say really well, to be not so stiff and weird in hand gestures and i have to get rid of the 'hmm' and 'er' that i always say if i'm trying to remember what to say.
ReplyDeleteHopefully in the future i can definitely do presentations very well.
Thank you very much!
After examining the video, it seems to me that i still need to work on my public speaking ability. In the beginning of the presentation, I think I did it quite well. However, I apparently sort of losing words when i tried to explain about sumo wrestling. There's also a slight mistake in pronouncing some words. Thus, I still need to learn more in pronunciation as well as learning to speak with the right & precise accent. Also, I noted a few grammatical errors & a couple of improper statements such as "OMG" and "Gimme a break!" that should definitely be avoided in the future. My goals for the next presentation are:
ReplyDelete1. having control over my nervousness
2. speaking more clearly with the right accent and pronunciation (without exposing any improper statements)
3. having a wider range of vocabularies
Thanks & see y'all !
After i saw my video, I look like as if I was unprepared and lack of confidence about my presentation.
ReplyDeleteIt seems like the confidence for the presentation is not fully charge.
3 goals for my next presentation:
1. More prepared
2. Boost up confidence
3. Improve speaking vocabulary
From the presentation that i did, the information that i put in the slide is too much and have bad arrangement. My gesture look not professional, wrong pronunciation and i'm lack of preparation for this presentation.
ReplyDelete3 goals for my presentation
1. practice more for speaking
2. prepared more for the presentation
3. try to do better presentation both for the information in the slide (the arrangement) and better gesture.
Thank you
