Please write the comments again!

I just found that most of the comments for the seventh posts are gone. There are only 2 comments there. I would like to ask all of you who have written the comments before 13 May to write it again since I can't find it anywhere. There are 5 people that have written before 13 May, but I don't remember all of them. As long as I remember, they are: Vicky, Kevin, Belinda, Oca, and one more person (Is it Cilia or Risyad? Or the other!?). CHANGED!! Just have confirmation that there are 6 people that have written before 13 May: Vicky, Kevin, Belinda, Risyad, Oca, and Stephanie. So please write the comment again. I expect to see 6 7 comments on the seventh post (including Devina who has written on 14 May).

Thank you.

Belinda.

Fifth post: Food and Beverage All Around the World

Hi everybody! So this is the fifth topic on the blog....
Since we're gonna discuss something about food and beverage next week, I'll make the topic all about food and beverage...

So here's the deal, there are a lot of countries all around the world, and each of those countries has its own special food.. So just pick one country and explain about the special food or beverage of the country.. You can include how to make it, what are the ingredients, what is so special about it, what is the story behind that food/beverage, etc... Just make it as interesting as possible.. and a little tips, pick a country that has an unusual food that not everybody know about that food; don't pick the same food as well guys... otherwise we won't get a lot of things to learn... :)

Thank you guys! I can't wait to read all of the comments...
have a good week ahead! :)

Third post: What food it is??

Friends!! This is just for fun… I don’t know why I say “yes” when Mr. Lee asked me to post new blog… But, I do it anyway. Okay enough of my sharing moment.. Let’s start…
This food is one of Indonesian traditional food. It has many varieties. There are two types of soup that can be use for creating this food; clear soup and coconut milk soup (actually in Indonesia we called it “santen”). We could use chicken, beef, or even lamb meat. There are some vegetables as well in that food. You can eat that food with rice, noodles, and rice cake. This food has many varieties. There are blab la bla Semarang, bla bla bla Betawi, bla bla bla Kudus, Lamongan, Bandung, Bogor (I knew this one because there’s one near my place) and many more…
Do you know what food it is? Yeah.. I know, my description quite confusing. I’m sorry about that. I’m not good at describing that food, but I’m really good at eating that food. Because I really like it.. Hope you can answer it.. Thank you. God bless you all.

Class Schedule

Hi all,

Unfortunately, there is no way to reschedule our class on Friday to the earlier start time of 1.30 pm. It seems that the university has a new policy stating that permanent schedule changes are only allowed in the first three weeks of a new semester.

Sorry guys.. It means that our class will start at the usual time of 3.30 pm tomorrow.

Thanks for your understanding.

Lee

Second post: Hospitality Industry's Expectation Of Their Employees

Hospitality industry is growing faster than we ever imagined and has become one of the main employers all over the world. Now, employees are required to have high standards of work because this industry has attained much higher status in the society. Even though there are many employment spaces available in hospitality industry, a lot of people are dying to get the job. Therefore, just like any other industries, interviews are crucial in hospitality to filter the best employees.

You want to be ready to face this reality and fulfill the requirements. Don’t you?
If yes, please share your thought regarding the industry’s expectation of their employees (personal qualities, interpersonal qualities and etc.) and why they are significant.

First post: Waste in Restaurants

Hey everyone. This will be the first post for the blog, so I am pretty excited myself. hahaha :)
So here it goes.

Two weeks have past, and our practical session in campus anggrek has been quite successful. The chefs have certainly produce good food and there are so much things to learn in the restaurant operations. However I have realized the massive waste that we produced, so I did a little research on waste in restaurant. Indeed, there are research saying that one restaurant can produce 50 tons of waste in a year. Our world is facing serious environment issues, in your opinion what can be done to reduce the waste in restaurants and what are the obstacles in doing it?
