All over the world, about 190 countries are placed. But there are many places which are interesting places to travel for. Usually tourist travel to enjoy and learn about the nature beauty, history, etc. However there must be another reason why people love to travel those place, can you find those places and describe why those places are interesting for tourist?

ReplyDeleteit's so true that there are a lot of interesting places to be traveled to.. from the modern city to the traditional countryside.. what i want to share with you guys, is a very interesting place that not all the people know about it.. This place is attractive because of its natural beauty... so, here it is..
The place is called Halong Bay.. It is located in the Gulf of Tonkin, close to the border between Vietnam and China, and it contains about 2000 islands, with sea arches, caves, and floating villages.. Halong Bay itself means "the Bay of the Descending Dragon".. Legend has it that long ago, during an invasion by Chinese, dragons come to defend the land, spitting out thousands of pearls as they descended, each of which turned into a jaded island upon hitting the water..
Surely this place is really beautiful, since there are some caves in each island.. The largest cave is called Wooden Stakes Cave, which contains three chambers, the first one has spectacular stalagmites and stalactites, some even as tall as 20 meters and large enough to hold 3000 people!!
There are fishing communities there, who inhabit floating villages and make a living from some of the 450 species of fish that swim in the clear blue waters.
The best time to go there is in the end of spring or nearly summer, because the weather is really nice at that time.. You can get there by taking boat or kayak, because this place is quite a remote area.. The closest town is Halong City, Hong Gai, and Cam Pha..
The last interesting fact of this place is that it is included as UNESCO World Heritage Site....

ReplyDeletewell,as everyone does we all like travelling.its such a getaway from our daily routine.however, many tourist choose to travelling abroad, they do not realizes the beauty of their own country.for example our country, Indonesia, which only famous is Bali.whereas, Indonesia's have a lot of natural beauty which still un-covered. here, i will suggest you all to visit to Raja Empat. Raja Empat is located on isolated west Papua nugini. The Raja Empat archipelago encompasses more than 9,8 million land and sea from the northwest tip of Indonesia, West Papua province and located in the coral triangle. This region save a million beauty of undersea and know as the one of the ten tours of the world’s best diving and take hold of the richest variety of species in the world this include of 899 fish species recorded and 537 species all known coral species.Besides that, current wave of Raja empat blow away coral larvae in Indian pacific ocean, however, because of the variety of the reefs Raja empat which became priority of global for marine proctection.
The Raja empat are cover by four big island of Waigeo, Batanta, Salawati and Misool and plus a hundred of other small island.
If we want to visit there it’s quite difficult because we must use air taxi and sea transportation, when we take air taxi first go to sorong city , furthermore went to Wasai by the sea transportation. The facilities available is only speedster which encompass ten until fifteen or thirteen people with cost two million rupiah .
Moreover, to visit Raja empat need a lot of money, by the cost is more high than went to Australia , is include journey from Jakarta to Irian Jaya.
the view and natural beauty of Raja empat are really great, so its really worth to go there and conserve our beauty resoursces.

Anyway, I would like to share a little bit of information about tourist sites in Amsterdam, Netherlands even though some of you may have been there before.
- Van Gogh Museum: This modern museum houses some 200 paintings and 550 sketches showing Van Gogh in all his moods.
-Red-Light District: This is somewhat of a sexual amusement park that gets quite an attention from people around the world.
-Keukenhof Garden: The world's largest flower garden that is only open in spring where you can see tulips and other flowers blooming.
-Kalvestraat,9straatjes, and Pieter Cornelisz Hooftstraat: The most favorite shopping sites in Amsterdam.

ReplyDeleteI agree with Vicky, most people love to travel; and there are so many interesting places to visit. When I read the post, I have one place in my mind, Athens.
Athens will be a great place to visit, especially for people who love mythology and god-goddess story. Athens has become a tourist destination since the 2004 Olympic Games.
There are so many temples, such as the Temple of Olympian Zeus at Vasilissis Olgas Venue, Temple of Hephaestus in Thiseio, Temple of Athena Nike, and there are some more.
Athens is a heaven for archeologists too, this city is one of the world's centers of archeological research; there are so many ruins and buildings in Athens and each of it has unique history behind it. Even architects will be very happy, because there are so many architectural styles in Athens, from the classic one to the modern style.
When you visit Athens, you will absolutely want to visit Areopagus. From the peak of Areopagus, you can see the beauty of Athens. The view is so wonderful, especially at night.
So overall, people who in love with archeology, architecture, and history will find Athens really interesting <3 [p.s: especially for me~~]

ReplyDeletefor me is Indonesia it self because contains many history and mysterious especially in Nusa Tenggara Timur, ENDE. the capital city and my Grandma homeland.
Even though I haven't been there but listening to my Mom and Grandparents, i consider the place could be amazing and so beautiful.
The most famous place near NTT (Nusa Tenggara Timur) is the island called Komodo island (recently nominated as the seven wonders)
at Ende it self, there are 2 famous places there.It's Soekarno isolation which is basically my relative house and know became historical place and you will know this one (i think)Kelimutu Lake the famous 3 colors changing lake.
fun fact about kelimutu is if you throw a stone into the lake it will not reach the bottom of the lake, because the wall at the lake contain magnetic field.

Hong Kong is really great place to go. It has many great places to go. Shopping, dining, and relaxing are really pleasing over there.
Go to Tsim Sha Tsui Road to go shopping. In that road, you can find lot of goods with good quality and cheap prices. You can get electronic so cheap. It is much more cheaper than Indonesia. For example, I bought a Iphone 3GS for Rp. 7.5 millions while in Indonesia still Rp. 11 millions.
Hong Kong has many great restaurants. The foods are really great. Taste so delicious, the ambiences so nice, and the prices are affordable. You can feel the dining experiences at Hong Kong restaurants.
Hong Kong gives you a relaxing experience. The atmospheres over there are so nice, so relaxing.
So, Go to Hong Kong. It is so nice place to travel.

Why am I so excited to give you information about botanical garden? As one of Bogor community, I’m so proud of Bogor city because we have botanical garden as lungs of the city. Among globalization influences that might destroy the natural view, we still can maintain our city’s uniqueness.
Botanical garden is located in central Bogor, West Java. It was built by Java’s Dutch Governor at that time. In the beginning, it named Slands Plantentiun te Buitenzorg. Buitenzorg means “Bogor”. Botanical Garden is adjoint with Presidential Palace. A long time ago we can go easily to Presidential Palace but now we can’t go there. It’s just for government necessary. You can go there only around 3th June because this is Bogor anniversary. Presidential Palace give opportunity to the civil to see and know the palace. As I know, in Presidential Palace we can see very beautiful view like small lake and lotus flowers surrounding the lake area.
Although you can’t enter Presidential Palace, from outside fences we can see a lot of deers. There are many carrot sellers, so you can feed the deer from the fences. First time Soekarno just put 7 deers, but now they have reproduced to be more than a thousand.
Botanical Garden has more than 15,000 species of trees and plants. The scientist usually do the experiment and want to know scarce plants. Botanical Garden is very famous all around the world because of many collections of scarce plants. The one which is really popular is Raflessia Arnoldi. In fact, Raflessia Arnoldi is from Bengkulu. The inventor is Raffless. That’s why it named Raflessia Arnoldi. He put that plant to Botanical Garden.
People can enjoy the natural view, walk around, or go picnic with your family and friends..

Today, I want to share a place that is popular for wine lover. Not just because of the history of the place, but it also has a unique building inspired by grape plants leafs.
It is called Ciudad del Vino (now became Marqués de Riscal Hotel) , located in Elciego, Spain. It is a complex comprising the oldest winery of Rioja. And they were built a luxury hotel themed with history, modernity and innovation set of the traditional winery.
First it was a vineyards and winery owned by a diplomat, then he hired a French wine expert to teach and train the local producers in the winemaking techniques. They made the finest red wine including Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec and Pinot Noir.
When you are staying there you will be entertained by the taste and aroma of various wines, fresh air all day long and nice views of the vineyards. But they are not only offer you the natural side, they also have nice rooms with hi-end luxuries stuff, wine spa and world class cuisine at the restaurant. led by the prestigious chef, Francis Paniego, the first chef of the Rioja to be awarded a Michelin star.
They are also some interesting and exciting activities that you can do there. Such as visiting the historical building, shopping or taste the fine dining there. Yes, it’s Venice.
Venice is a city that is very well known for its tourism. The city stretches across 117 small islands in the Venetian Lagoon along the Adriatic Sea in the Northeast Italy. It is an archipelago of 117 islands formed by 177 canals in a shallow lagoon, connected by 409 bridges.
This is the interesting part of Venice, is that its form of transportation is on water or on foot. Not forgetting the classical Venetian boat, the gondola, which is very famous for tourist, weddings, and other ceremonies.
The attractions in Venice include St Mark’s Basilica and the Grand Canal.
Venice is not only well known for its tourism, but it is also a tourism inspiration. In Macau, Venetian takes its concept from the city of Venice.
Since I haven’t actually visited Venice, I haven’t actually experienced its tourism, however it is one of the tourism destinations that I am looking forward to. So that’s all from me.

ReplyDeleteTraveling on some countries does gives differences experience. Everyone will have their own preferences for their holiday of traveling. For about 190 countries to travel, Hong Kong is one the interesting places to discover for me - cant agree more with Kevin.
Hong Kong is a great place to go as the heritage of the place and the stunning places. Hong Kong is really famous for their shopping paradise country. Beside Tsim Sha Shui, you can visit Ladies' Market which located in Mong kok So, for fashion lover, what are you waiting for, go visit Mong Kok and bargain as much as you can!
Besides shopping, you can go to Madame Tussauds in Hong Kong Island. It is the first Madame Tussauds in asia! It does deliver an exciting, fun and also, interactive celebrity experience! And don’t forget for more international attraction, Disneyland!
Lets go for the food. So basically, everywhere you go and stop, the food in Hong Kong is fascinating incredible nice and wont charge you high. For a tourist, you might want to visit Jumbo Floating Restaurant. It has been popular since 1976 for their seafood! And Jumbo Floating Restaurant is one of the world's largest floating restaurants! If you just want to look at around the restaurant it will be fine as around there, there will be lots of people that will hire a ferry to enjoy the experience.
Yeap that all that I can share for you guys! Hope you can enjoy Hong Kong as much as I do!
P.S: Its quite hard for bargaining price if you don’t speak Cantonese or Chinese because they will charge you a real high price
